If you’re not making the money you want to make, you don’t see the growth or momentum or the duplication that you want, and you’re just simply not where you want to be in your business, today’s video is for you.

Top 5 Tips to Become Successful in Network Marketing

If somebody says, “I’m not getting the results that I want in my business”, you have to look in your mirror and ask yourself, what is it that you’re not doing? Would you join you?

1. Plug into Your Company’s System

I don’t know what network marketing company you’re in, and I don’t know what business you’re in. Everybody that follows me does different things, but I’m pretty sure there’s somebody in your company that has put together a system.

Whether it’s somebody in the company itself, or it’s your upline, are you plugged into the system? Do you know the scripts? What do you know about the process? Do you know how to prospect somebody, how to recruit, how to close, and how to lead your team?

There should be a system in place. If you feel like you don’t know what to do then you need to go to your upline and say, “I don’t know where to start”. Reach out for help. Nobody knows you’re drowning or struggling if you don’t let them know, so are you plugged into the system? Are you being coachable? Are you doing what it takes to win every single day, day in and day out?

2. Grow Yourself Daily

What are you doing right now to better yourself? Better your mindset and better your skill-set? What books are you reading? Are you listening to podcasts? How are you getting better? How are you studying to perfect your craft?

What are you doing everyday that’s making you a better leader and a better communicator? A better prospector, better closer and a better marketer? It’s interesting how many network marketers know nothing about marketing. Think about it.

If you want to be a doctor, you go to med school, if you want to be a lawyer, you go to law school. If you want to be successful at network marketing, you need to take yourself to class every day.

Are you investing in courses? Are you investing in seminars? There’s people out there who have written books helping you become a better networker and become a better leader- and a better human.

3. Build Long-Term Relationships

It’s about always building relationships, always having conversations. If you haven’t talked to someone in six months, six years or ever, it’s time to have a conversation. Start accepting new friend requests and sending out new friend requests. Get in different groups, meet new people. All the stuff that we talk about, that we teach and preach every single day.

4. Work on Your Likability Factor

Have you ever noticed the top earners in network marketing and big earners in other professions, they’re very likeable? You might say you don’t like Grant Cardone, but you know a lot of people do. It’s not about everybody liking you. If you have haters that means you probably have people that love you, too. Most of us are trying to appeal to everyone instead of trying to appeal to our ideal person.

5. Become a Great Communicator

Some people think that people will get bored of them. They feel like they’re going to share stuff that people aren’t going to care about- then stop sharing stuff that people don’t care about. You don’t know what you don’t know, and right now you don’t know what people are going to go to resonate with. It is also possible that you don’t know what they’re going to end up enjoying. You just have to put yourself out there, so tell more stories, be more authentic.

Nadya and I weave our story into our training and lessons. Whatever we’re putting out there whether it’s on Instagram, Facebook Live, or if we’re posting a video, we try to weave it with authenticity and share our experience. Bring more of that and less of the crap and spam. Sure, you need to have a better profile and get better with the scripts sure but it actually boils down to you becoming a better human being, working on yourself, and pouring into your mindset and skill-set so you can develop into that leader.

We all want to have this multi-million dollar business, but could you lead a multi-million-dollar team?

Nadya Melton Quote in believing yourself You can always get better and work on yourself. I have to say, I got lucky; I got involved in network marketing at a very young age, but prior to that I was messed up.

I was broke, busted, disgusted, I was charged with second degree assault. For violations I went to court and I was getting in trouble. As a punk teenager, and I was headed down the wrong path, so I’m very fortunate that I found network marketing when I did.

I’m very fortunate that I had mentors, because if I didn’t find personal development and network marketing, who knows who I’d be today?

So, if you aren’t getting the results you want, look in the mirror. Make a decision to work on yourself.

You know you could read the books, but you’re not. You know you can talk to more people, but you’re not. There’s a lot of moving parts, but this is why you have to work on yourself. Believe me, if you had told me 15 years ago this is who I would be today, that I’d be doing videos and coaching people and have a multi-million-dollar business, I’d be shocked. I just wanted to make a few thousand bucks a month. Sure, I thought it sounded cool becoming a multi-millionaire, and I thought it sounded cool building a multi-million-dollar business.

I thought it would be cool to go out there and have success, but did I really believe it? No. None of us do in the beginning. None of us know that the videos we’re creating, the content we’re creating, the conversations we’re having, the relationships we’re building and the books we’re reading are going to shape us.

We don’t know how that’s going to affect us and impact us and the many other people that we will come across. You just have to say, “I don’t care that it’s summer vacation. I don’t care that my business has plateaued, and I don’t care that bad stuff happened. Further more, I don’t care that everybody quits my team, or” I’ve lost a million bucks in real estate. Bad stuff happens, but that is what makes you better.
