If you want to stand out in today’s noisy Social Media world, you have to show up consistently, with value, energy, and authenticity.
Think about your Social Media as a bank account. In the beginning, too many people try to withdraw from an empty account and then they get frustrated because they don’t have the same impact that others do.
So how do you conquer that? By showing up consistently and recognizing the fact that it takes time to build trust with your audience!
Your audience needs to get to know you and like you to trust you. Then, when you suggest something, they’ll go, “It’s got to be good if he/she is promoting it.”
Remember: on Social Media, you need to give for the sake of giving. Have the mindset of, “Even if this person never buys from me, I want to make a difference. And even if they never spend a dollar with me, I want to know that I’m building a connection with them and that I’m somehow providing value for them.”

What should you do if you’re just starting out and you don’t have a considerable number of people following you?

Becoming an affiliate is a great way to earn commissions by promoting great products and/or services that you believe in!
Think about it like this — if you already have a pretty good-sized audience and you ever do videos, then people might be interested in what kind of makeup you use. Or let’s say you do a lot of cooking shows and you’re in the kitchen with different pots and pans. Then people could be interested in what your set up is!
Now that you have someone interested in the products you’re using or the tools you have, you can start packaging those products in kits! What is great about this strategy is that if you have a Network Marketing business, you can have some of your products in those kits! It’s a win-win!

This strategy is a little bit more advanced, so we recommend it for people who already have a significant number of followers and bandwidth to build out more sophisticated processes.
Because the truth is while building your business on Social Media is great, you don’t own it. But you own your email list. So that’s a great place to start.

- How can I align myself with the business and compete with what’s currently on the market?
- What are the tools that I should use to make a big difference?
Then focus on building an email list, creating freebies (a free gift in exchange for a name and an email address), doing blog posts, running paid ads, etc.
Be patient. Empires are not built in a day!
Have Long-Term Vision
