If you’re not getting the results you want to, then look in a mirror. Ask yourself: “How do I approach people?”, “What am I doing and/or not doing?”, “If I were them, would I want to join this business?”. What are the answers? Here are 5 tips that will help you fulfill your potential!
Tip #1: Plug Into Your Company’s System
No matter which company you’re with or what product you sell, one thing is universally true — you have a system in place. So ask yourself this: are you plugged into it? Do you know:
- the scripts;
- what the process is;
- how to prospect, recruit, close and ultimately, lead?
If you don’t have the answers to some of these questions, just ask for help! There’s no shame in it. Your upline won’t know you’re struggling until you let them know. And the sooner, the better! Be coachable and see how quickly things can turn around!
Tip #2: Develop Yourself Daily
If you wanted to be a doctor, what would you do? Go to a med school, right? It’s the same with network marketing. If you want to be successful, you need to invest in your personal development.
If you don’t know what that looks like, think about this:
- what books are you reading?
- are you listening to podcasts?
- do you invest in courses / seminars / workshops / etc.?
Network marketing is all about you, and you need to get ahead of the curve! Get better with every day that goes by! Otherwise, people simply won’t follow you or listen to what you have to say.

Tip #3: Build Long-Term Relationships
Yes! Building long-term relationships is the fastest way to success in network marketing. It takes longer and requires more efforts but the end result will be so worth it! Remember: customers buy from people they know, like and trust. And if someone doesn’t know you, how do you expect them to trust you?
So go out there and start having conversations, offering and accepting friend requests. The results will be amazing!
Tip #4: Work On Your Likability Factor
Have you noticed how the most successful people in the world are very likable? Even if you don’t like some of them, would you agree that many other people do? That’s because they’re authentic and their ideal avatars appreciate that. So why not do the same?
Be yourself and people will reward you! And if someone hates on you, so what? That just means that you have other people out there who love you!
Tip #5: Become A Great Communicator
What message do you want to pass to your audience? Where are you going to post it – Instagram, Facebook, YouTube? Whatever it is and whichever platform you decide to use, make sure you’re on point. And if you’re worried that your audience might get bored with you, don’t be. Just start thinking of new ways of getting your message across, which will keep them on their toes!
Marketing is all about communication, so go and learn as much as possible. You won’t believe how many people in network marketing know next to nothing about marketing itself. And it’s in the title! It’s not hidden away somewhere. So it would make sense to read those books or go to those seminars, right? Become the best version of yourself and you will be amazed with the results!
At the end of the day, it all comes down to being authentic. Even when you have doubts, just keep going. Did John and I believe we would be multi-millionaires some day? No. None of us do in the beginning. And none of us can predict the results that we’ll have tomorrow by the actions we take today. But you have to trust that it will all be worth it in the end. It was for us, and I’m sure it will be for you. So go out there and CRUSH it!
